‘Lithuanian Beverage Tour’ is a sightseeing programme, combining three unique cities that cherish Lithuanian beverage production traditions: Alytus, Kaunas and Anykščiai. These cities have the largest beverage distilleries in Lithuania, including Stumbras in Kaunas, counting the second century of its existence, Anykščių Vynas in Anykščiai, approaching its first century, and the youngest of the three Alita distillery in Alytus. All the distilleries have a clear common vision to foster authentic Lithuanian beverage production traditions.

The Sightseeing Programme ‘Lithuanian Beverage Tour’ invites you to get to know the fascinating history and production of these distilleries: you will listen to stories about the origin of their most famous drinks, witness the entire production process and will have an opportunity to taste the most popular products.

Opened in 2009, the first and probably the only spirits museum in Lithuania provides an overview of the history of STUMBRAS distillery and its role in the development of Lithuanian industrialisation. The distillery housed in 100-year-old buildings and the museum itself reveal historical memories, while providing a peek into the modern-day methods of creating and bottling STUMBRAS drinks.

After the tour, visitors can arrange for a tasting of a selection of drinks that are presented by experts and STUMBRAS sommelier. STUMBRAS museum shop offers the most popular STUMBRAS products.
