The project of 100,000 unique labels of the Lithuanian Vodka Original has won a bronze medal in the packaging design category in the international competition Balticbest 2020.

This year, on the occasion of spring, Stumbras factory marked the Lithuanian Vodka Originali products with 100,000 different labels. Limited edition packaging hit the shelves at the end of February. It is the first packaging design solution of its kind in Lithuania. As in previous years, the design of limited edition features the Lithuanian theme – this time it is the Lithuanian tricolor flag as well as national symbols.

To print as many as 100,000 different labels, it was necessary to use technologies that are still rarely used in Lithuania. It should be noted that the packaging design agency Étiquette has developed a large-format visual that contains all the symbols used in the design of labels. Then special software was used. Algorithms integrated in this software helped to automatically frame a drawing, zoom it in or out to obtain different design options.
