Dainava is one of Lithuania’s historical regions and is known for its dense forests, rapid rivers, and abundance of mushrooms and berries. STUMBRAS has been producing this bitters in honor of the Dainava region for more than five decades, using apple, rowan berry, cherry, cranberry and blueberry juice to create its subtle flavor. DAINAVA has been granted protected geographical indication status by the European Union.
DAINAVA
DAINAVA is a bitters created by combining traditional Lithuanian ingredients – natural apple, rowan berry, cherry, cranberry and blueberry juice. DAINAVA has a slightly tart flavor, a rich, orange-brown color, and the aroma of fruit, berries and wine.
DAINAVA can be consumed neat or mixed with grapefruit juice and served on the rocks.
